OBSESSIONS

necklace: H&M
shorts: Primark//bag:Alexander Wang//tee:Topshop//trainers:River Island
top to bottom:ASOS//Ebay//H&M//ASOS
vest & shoes:Zara//shorts:Urban Outfitters//bag:H&M

Since outfit posts have kind of had to go out the window for the moment (I'm too preoccupied trying to sort my life out to dress decently) I'll have to bore you with this nonsense... So I'm a little bit besotted with this whole outfit grid thing. I love the instagram @outfitgrid, its all menswear which I'm obsessed with because they have the BEST accessories. But I think the girls oughta play too, so that's what I'm attempting here. Its also a great way to put outfits together, so when the weather turns nice and I'm ready to get out of my sweatpants/slippers/jeans/trainers rotation I shall be wearing both these get ups.

I also wanted to show you my new neck candy! I'm back on statement necklaces since they are a great way to dress up a boring outfit e.g- tshirts and jeans (my staples!) The ID chain from Ebay, which is the closest to the Celine version can be found by searching 'chunky ID chain' which will bring up tonnes of tasty results to choose from. Mine is actually plastic which I was kinda pissed about when it arrived but it means it won't tarnish.

LATE OFF THE MARK

Trousers: Primark// Top: Victorias Secret// Jacket: Topshop// Trainers: River Island

Well hello there from sunny Vancouver, I guess this is my first post since moving across the pond but its a bit of a cheat because I took these in the UK for an outfit post but never got round to putting them up, so here is how I styled those bargain sport-luxe style trousers I posted about a few weeks ago, I love that old sports jersey style number tops are everywhere right now they are perfect for throwing on and so comfortable.

Anyyyway, I arrived halfway round the world about two weeks ago (hence why my blog has been so quiet) I spent a week in Canada's capital- Ottawa and took a short trip to Montreal then came to Vancouver last sunday. I'm starting to settle in now so stay tuned in for upcoming posts and thanks for still following and supporting my blog folks!

AUF WIEDERSEHEN

My Dream Team Queen B Rachel and I

I don't know if I've mentioned it on here yet but I'M MOVING TO CANADA ON FRIDAY. Exciting times ahead but sadly that meant leaving my much loved colleagues at Northern Lights Agency where I have worked for the past two and half years :'-(  So on wednesday I was treated to some lovely leaving presents and an amazing leaving dinner at Restaurant Bar & Grill in Manchester.

I really liked my outfit but didn't take any proper photos (trust me if I had better ones I would put them up but for now please enjoy the view of our toilets) so yeah, on paper, white vest and white blazer doesn't sound great but when I had them on together I loved the look, I've had this blazer for two years,  its really old Primark and this is the first time I've worn it (Its now in my immediate jacket choices) Wore with Zara heels and H&M coated skinny trousers

UPGRADE

Another sinfully boring day outfit post from yours truly, sorry! I am without a doubt, and always will be a t-shirt and jeans kinda girl. But I'm trying to step it up a gear and I think these necklaces do the trick quite nicely. Rhinestone, crystal and chain necklaces are pretty trendy right now on the highstreet so its easy enough to get your paws on them. I got mine from a vintage shop in Hebden Bridge called Lucy & the Caterpillar they were around £15 each and are from around the 1950's which I think is pretty cool. I appreciate that they are unique and they layer together perfectly. I'm wearing t-shirt and belt from Primark, my jeans and boots were bought in the River Island sale.

SWEATPANT LUXE

Who else wishes they could leave the house everyday in joggers? Without looking like a scruff? Thanks to the lovely gold zip detail and tapered cuffs on these bad boys from Primark I can be impossibly comfy AND smart (not gonna lie though, probs still going to wear them with trainers)

MEOW

Nothing like a bit of summer outfit gridding. I picked up these leopard print runner shorts for £4 last week during my Primark rampage. I'm really looking forward to summer, and shorts and trainers are my faves. I rarely wear prints/colour but when I do I always keep the rest of my outfit nice and simple.

WEEKENDER

Jumper:Primark//Jacket:Topshop//Treggings:Zara//Boots:Topshop//Sunglasses:Rayban

Ran some errands on Saturday and since the weather was perfect (cold enough to dress for winter, but sunny enough for shades) I decided to have a go at an outfit post. Don't really do them because there is nowhere decent in my house and the lighting always looks shit. But now its staying lighter into the evenings and I can go outside I will try more often. The only thing I have to say about this outfit is that that knit jumper cost me five pounds, FIVE ENGLISH POUNDS, couldn't quite believe it. I mean it was only suppose to be £15 in Primark but had been marked down to a fiver..I thought the fit and quality would be really bad but when I got home and tried it on it was great. They had loads so I'm going to go back and buy it in a couple of other colours.

KICKS & KNITS

I wore this get up the other day and really liked it, I have had these Topshop jeans for years and love the detailed panelling and exposed zips. I teamed them with just a black loose knit H&M jumper and my new burgundy wooly hat I got from Primark for a mere £3.

SHIRTS, SHADES, STUDS

Hello friends, I have been trawling the high street over the last few weeks for some holiday bargains and I present to you my findings. From top to bottom-
Tee: Topshop £22
Shirt: Primark £8
Sunglasses: Asos £10//Topshop £16
Clutch: Primark £6
My favourite find is the bag, there is an almost identical one for sale in Topshop for £38. I came out with the shirt at the same time too and I have to say for Primark it is pretty damn good.

PURCHASES

Belts: Primark £3 each//Jeans: Topshop £20

Bustier, skirt & vest: Missguided

Some of my recent purchases here, got mad love for Primark belts I have loads, and the jeans were a no-brainer sale purchase in Topshop. I made my first order from Missguided.co.uk, one lazy sunday afternoon whilst browsing the net I panicked that I didn't have any clothes to wear in Vegas next month, and ended up with the black vest, which isn't the problem, the problem is the spiked bralet (I commonly express my dislike for bra-tops) and a sickly bright aztec print bodycon skirt, don't get me wrong because if I saw these on a blog I would love them and on the model on Missguided I thought they looked so good. I just have no idea what I'm going to wear them with so stay tuned for an outfit post of me looking like a right tit in sin city.....it's gonna be impressive.

P.S Missguided offer free next day shipping on orders over only £35 which is class to be fair and I am going to order some more of the vests too because they are the perfect amount of slouchy, soft, side-boobness (yes that's a thing)

LIPSTICK & LEOPARD PRINT

HELLO MY FRIENDS, I HAVEN'T POSTED THIS WEEK AS I'VE ENDED UP BEING BUSY AFTER WORK AND THEN I WENT TO MY MISTERS FOR A COUPLE OF NIGHTS SO HERES JUST A QUICK ONE ON A COUPLE OF MY LATEST PURCHASES. I THINK I'VE HAD SOME SERIOUS SHOPPING ISSUES THE LAST COUPLE OF WEEKS, I CAN'T STOP BUYING CRAP! I JUST WANT EVERYTHING! I EVEN BOUGHT A BIKINI FROM H&M ONLINE....I DON'T HAVE A HOLIDAY BOOKED? THANKFULLY THE HIGH STREET IS PRETTY GOOD AT THE MINUTE SO I HAVEN'T BLOWN TOO MUCH CASH.

ABOVE IS THE RESULT OF NIPPING OUT TO GET SOME SOCKS FROM PRIMARK, SAW THIS TOP WAS ONLY £8 AND I THOUGHT THE PRINT WAS PRETTY GOOD...AND SINCE I HAVE NO SELF CONTROL ANYMORE I HAD TO GET IT.  I ALSO WANDERED INTO BOOTS AND PICKED UP THIS RIMMEL LIPSTICK FROM THE KATE MOSS COLECTION, I DON'T REALLY VENTURE OUT OF THE RED/CORAL SPECTRUM WHEN IT COMES TO LIPSTICK BUT RECENTLY I'VE WANTED TO TRY BE A BIT MORE DARING AND IT LOOKS SOOOO COOL ON OTHER GIRLS. DEFINITELY A MAN REPELLER BUT WHO CARES! WHAT DO YOU THINK? I CAN'T DECIDE IF IT SUITS ME OR NOT, I MIGHT WEAR IT OUT THIS WEEKEND BUT I'LL HAVE TO BE PRETTY DARN DRUNK BEFORE I LEAVE THE HOUSE.

A REVIEW: PRIMARK FALSE EYELASHES

THESE WERE AN IMPULSE BUY AT THE TIL PURELY FROM CURIOSITY, AT FIRST I WAS A BIT LIKE 'EW PRIMARNI LASHES?' BUT THEN I SAW THEY WERE £1 SO I THOUGHT WHY THE HELL NOT!

THEY CAME WITH THEIR OWN ADHESIVE BUT I SACKED IT OFF RIGHT AWAY, NO GOOD EYELASH GLUE CAN COME WITH A PACK OF £1 EYELASHES, I RECOMMEND ALL GIRLS TO GET A TUBE OF DUO ADHESIVE. ITS THE BEST.

FIRST OF ALL THEY DO FEEL SYNTHETIC, DEFINITELY NOT AS SOFT AS SAY ARDELL OR EYELURE LASHES (I THINK THOSE ARE MADE FROM REAL HAIR THOUGH) THE PART THAT YOU GLUE ON TO YOUR EYELID IS QUITE THICK WHICH MAKES FOR EASY APPLICATION AND HOLDS ONTO PLENTY OF GLUE, SOMETIMES I FIND THE THIN ONES REALLY FLIMSY, BUT THESE ARE GOOD AND ALSO KEEP THEIR SHAPE.
I PERSONALLY WOULD ONLY WEAR THESE FOR NIGHTS OUT, THEY ARE MORE DRAMATIC THAN WHAT I AM USED TO. I HAVE WORN THEM ABOUT 4 TIMES NOW AND THEY ARE STILL GOOD FOR A FEW MORE GOS.

VERDICT: PRETTY DAMN GOOD FOR A £1!!
