UPGRADE

Another sinfully boring day outfit post from yours truly, sorry! I am without a doubt, and always will be a t-shirt and jeans kinda girl. But I'm trying to step it up a gear and I think these necklaces do the trick quite nicely. Rhinestone, crystal and chain necklaces are pretty trendy right now on the highstreet so its easy enough to get your paws on them. I got mine from a vintage shop in Hebden Bridge called Lucy & the Caterpillar they were around £15 each and are from around the 1950's which I think is pretty cool. I appreciate that they are unique and they layer together perfectly. I'm wearing t-shirt and belt from Primark, my jeans and boots were bought in the River Island sale.

Jersey separates make up a good half of my wardrobe, I suppose they are what I would call my staple item of clothing. Its been pretty warm recently so I've had my pins out quite a bit but to combat chilly mornings I have been throwing a big jumper over most of my outfits which is why I love this grey one by Adidas Slvr, its a mens so its oversized and relaxed without (I hope) looking too scruffy! I have found that with a rail full of jersey there is a fine line between minimal chic and pyjama/bag lady.

DIY STUDDED DENIM SHORTS

I HAD SOME SPARE PYRAMID STUDS KNOCKIN' ABOUT SO I STUDDED THE BACK POCKET OF MY DENIM SHORTS. I DIDNT HAVE ENOUGH TO COVER THE WHOLE POCKET SO I JUST UNPICKED THE CORNER AND PUT STUDS JUST WHERE YOU CAN SEE.

I THEN PROCEEDED TO CUT THEM FAR TOO SHORT THAN I WOULD HAVE PREFERRED. DOH! SO I THINK I WILL PUT THEM ON EBAY BECAUSE I THINK THEY ARE FAR TOO TIGHT AROUND THE BUTTOCK REGION FOR MY LIKING.
